Royal Buffet in Camby

Good selection. Fresh food. Very clean. And has a fantastic sushi bar. Even when they are busy, the staff manages to keep food stocked. Bit pricey on the food...but I get that most people eat too much and keep the price high.

Food still ok but if the waiters think they aren't getting a good tip they're going to ignore you. I went the entire meal there without getting my drink refilled once, I just felt unwelcome there. Which is weird since this used to be my favorite place.

Best Chinese buffet I had ever been to! It's very clean, their food and service is very good. They have crab legs, ice creams, and sushi bar. They also have really cheap prices. I really loved it. I will continue going there every week. It is a place where everyone should definitely visit.

Decent location but nothing really stood out when compared to other Chinese buffets.

Food good but keep nda high on price

The staff here is always friendly and helpful...the food is not too bad but the "sushi" is, well, buffet sushi and the crab legs are like rubber. The last few times I've eaten here the crab legs have not been edible. The shells are so soft and like rubber they won't crack open. They used to be really good but over the last few years this place has gone down hill.

Went as soon as they opened and everything tasted old and the chicken was chewy and cold, when I talked to the manager of the place he kept saying we just made this fresh but if it was fresh it wouldn’t of been chewy and cold.

Food had been sitting for a while, was there at 4 oclock, not very good.

Was absolutely disgusting. The beef was old and in some gelatinous sauce. Hopefully this isn't the norm, because I plan on trying it again.

I eat here a lot with my father, the staff are very kind and always clean away the table almost right after you’re finished with the plate, in my onion the pricing is fair, I like all the food there but the only thing that needs improved is the ribs, everything else is great. Also, I like that they have ice cream there, never seen that in a buffet place, 10/10.

Loved the food. the guy taken care of me and my family was amazing. He wasn't over bearing but at the same time made sure everybody had what they needed silverware or refills very quiet guy will be visiting this place again.

Went earlier on Saturday. Surprisingly buffet was still hot and fresh. Unusual for a slow time at a buffet. Good food. Had a problem with my soda. Sprite was short on syrup. Waitress was quick to make sure tank was replaced and brought a new drink. Did it all very quickly and in a friendly helpful manner. Kudos to the staff.

I really enjoy Chinese food. Royal China Buffet is very clean and has a very attentive, friendly staff. Happy Dragon is my favourite but Royal China Buffet is my number 2. I highly recommend this location.

The food would have been good, but, their steam tables weren't working properly. Many dishes were cold.

Second time here, regretting it again! Heading straight to the store for Pepto because I feel like my stomachs hating what I just put into it.Food was far from tasty, salad was sitting in pool of water. My bowels are in for it in the morning for sure.. I would’ve used the bathroom there but did a 180 upon entering their restroom due to both toilets being clogged with fecal matter and urine all over the seats.Only thing clean was the restaurant next door. Should’ve went there. The seats at his buffet need redone very badly, How did they all get ripped up like that? Very unsettling.I even felt bad for their fish, the tank was raunchy! Poor things. Don’t eat here !

We love this place. Have been coming here for 3+ years and the food is consistently good. The owners are super friendly and so is the staff.

Been coming to this place to eat for a few years and I honestly dont like going anywhere else for Chinese food. I give 4 stars just because of some lack of services other than that they are pretty good.

Not bad. Booth seats are worn out. The staff keeps up on cleaning tables, and taking your finished plates away. I do not remember seeing a chaining table in the bathroom. Overall not bad.

Great place for good tasting Chinese food. Staff is very friendly and professional! Made me a vegetarian sushi roll per my request. General Tso's and wonton's are amazing. Quiet, clean, very well-ran. Would recommend to anyone.

Food was cold pre at least barely warm. The only reason for 2 stars was that the place was clean and they had variety. What has happened to Chinese restaurants? They all seem to be going downhill.

There was empty pans at the buffet and when asked if they were going to fill them they said which ones do you want? By the time there was food done, we were ready to leave. This place used to be amazing. We wont be going back.

Just ordered from here about 30 minutes ago I received my food and the general tso’s chicken had a sour taste to it and tasted more like sweet and sour or something I called Up there to let the guy know and he acted really nonchalant about it and told me that is how they make it . I will never come back here again .

These people are crooks and take your money we was there today it was still lunch and my daughter went to get her a plate and she goes to sit down and the waitress comes up and takes are receipt and tells us we are being charged for dinner and we was there at lunch time so she basically told us if we get anymore food we will be charged for dinner but my daughter just got her plate and they didn't tell her till after she got her plate and sit down I was in the restroom . I think it was bullcrap and very stupid and uncalled for.I'm glad I was done eating because I would've got charged for dinner I think they are crooks and take your money we won't be going back

Good service, clean restaurant. Higher quality of food than I expected. The fried fish was surprisingly delicate and flavorful without being oily. Will be back.

This is THE best buffet in the Indianapolis area. The food is always fresh and of great quality. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean and the prices for the food are very reasonable. We eat here several times a month.

(New Review Under New Ownership)Since being under new ownership things have been better, ribs are tender and not soggy like before, the chicken wings are good and hot not just warm like before, the shrimp is nice and garlicy unlike before when it wasn't anything near what it is now. The new waiters could do a better job on refills and clearing the table but overall the new feel of Royal Buffet is a LOT better.SIDE NOTEThey replace the seating so they're no longer teared and ripped and they're more comfortable.

All the food was old and dry. Definitely over priced for the quality of food. Will not go back.

Decent prices and decent food. Food was not fresh 😒. Several times they ran out of key items like rice and salad bar items. Staff was definitely running short as drinks were not even refilled once.

We eat here more than I'd like to admit. It's our guilty pleasure in the way of restaurants. The staff is always super friendly, the food is always hot, fresh, and yummy, and everything is clean. It's a great buffet with lots of variety.

Great food when its fresh

This place is horrible, I came here like 6 years back & had a horrible experience. I was told it was under new management so I gave it another try today, worst decision ever will never be back . Food was old & meat was dry, Nothing was fresh just down right disgusting . I suggest you to go somewhere else . Do not waste your moneyyy !! When we went here, there were new people. We asked them where was the previous ones they told us that they just went to vacation. Found out, it’s under new ownership.New ownership, new taste in food. Same menu. But still as good. The server would have done a better job. He won’t refill the drink until we ask him to. And when he did, he refilled half of the glass! Hahaha! We miss the old owners!
